What is the difference between a one-time chore and a weekly chore?

A one-time chore is a single chore with a single due date. It does not need to be repeated on a regular basis. For example, “Wash the Car” could be a one-time chore and so could “Clean the Garage.”  With a one-time chore you can choose if you would or would not like for them to have a due date or receive a monetary reward for completing the chore.

Weekly chores are chores that will be repeated. These chores can be selected from a list of standard chores or by creating a custom chore of your own.
